The 41 st National Safety Day is being celebrated on 4 th and 5 th March, 2012. On this occasion the Department of Factories, Boilers, Industrial Safety and Health is organizing various activities. To encourage and to create awareness on industrial safety among all the stakeholders. The following state level competitions are being organized.

1. Best safe industry in Mega industries             :      2 awards
2. Best safe industry in Large scale industries    :      2 awards
3. Best safe industry in Medium scale industries :      2 awards
4. Best safe industry in Small scale industries     :      2 awards
5. Best safe Major Accident Hazard industry       :      2 awards
6. Best safe Construction Project / site               :      2 awards

2. Best safe worker in Large scale industries                    : 2 awards
3. Best safe worker in Medium scale industries                 : 2 awards
4. Best safe worker in Small scale industries                    : 2 awards

State Level safety quiz competition for the industrial workers.

 

•  Best two teams each from the 8 regions of Deputy Directors of Factories will be called for the final

    round quiz  completion to be conducted at Bangalore.

•  The date, place and timings will be intimated later.

•  Each team comprises of two members.

•  Quiz competition is exclusively for shop floor workers category only.
