To monitor the safety in Hazardous Process industries by averting possible emergencies arising out of chemicals and reducing their consequences.

To educate the management as well as the persons employed in the registered factories about the Safety, Health and Environmental awareness.

To ensure elimination of possible accidents to persons employed in the factories and to provide safe working environment to avoid health disorders.

To ensure submission of periodical information, Statistics to the authorities to enable in arriving at National Indices such as consumer price index and others.
